Grade 7075 Cold Finished (CF) / T-651 Temper Aluminum is solution heat treated and artificially aged, then stress relieved by streching. This product is not cold worked after solution heat treatment. Aluminum alloy 7075 is well-known for its excellent strength-to-weight ratio, making it an ideal material for applications where weight is a critical factor. 7000 series are the hardest and strongest commercial grades of aluminum. Grade 7075 is the most common of the 7000 series grades. This alloy is precipitation hardened to very high strength levels making it ideal for the production of airframe structures and other highly stressed components. (UNS A97075)
